This particular unit survived drops of 30 inches (which is typically the height of a standard desk or table) to the base of the unit while in operation. Panasonic took testing a step further and applied several Mil-Spec methods to show that the unit survived 26 drops to every side, corner and face from a height of 1 foot (12 inches) onto a hard surface. - Trusted PerformanceThe new Toughbook S10 is exceptionally light-weight at a jaw-dropping 3 pounds flat.
